Chakberri Produce Tools — Privacy Notice

This notice describes the app Chakberri Produce Tools published by CHAKBERRI LLC, a Ukrainian limited liability company registered in Kyiv. The app is an offline calculator pack used by the publisher's own trade desk and made available on Google Play for the same kind of work at other desks.

What the app does on the device

The app runs five tools on the phone:

• Crate or pallet weight calculator: gross weight minus the chosen empty-crate tare equals the net produce weight.
• Freshness estimator: produce type, harvest date and storage temperature feed a static shelf-life table that returns days remaining.
• Multi-currency pricing: a UAH price per kilogram is converted to EUR and USD using the cross rates the user types in.
• Yield estimator: area in hectares and produce type return an expected total in kilograms.
• Supplier log: date, supplier name, produce type, quantity, price per kilogram and a delivery status chip are stored as a list on the device.

Data that stays on the device

Every value entered by the user — weights, dates, temperatures, prices, cross rates, area in hectares, supplier names, produce types and free-text notes — is stored on the device only. The app uses local SharedPreferences. There is no cloud sync, no account database and no export to a server.

Data the app does not collect

The app holds the principle of minimum data. The app does not collect personal identifiers, contact details, location data, photos, contacts, calendar entries, microphone or camera input, on-device file listings, advertising identifiers or any other category of personal data.

Permissions

The app declares only the standard internet permission used by the system when checking app updates through Google Play. The app does not request location, camera, microphone, storage, contacts or any other runtime permission.

Third-party services in the app

The app uses Google Play Services for the standard install and update channel. The app uses Google Fonts bundled inside the application package, with runtime fetching disabled, so the fonts render from local files. No other third-party SDK is present in the build.

Children

The app targets staff at a produce trade desk. The app is not directed at children under thirteen. The app does not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to this notice

If the practices described here change, the notice on this page is updated. Material changes are reflected on the Settings screen in the app.
