Day-to-day work of the desk. The app on Google Play is a calculator pack we built for our own floor staff. Listed here so visitors understand the context, not as a price list.
Retail distribution
Hand-off to neighbourhood greengrocers and weekend markets in Kyiv and the inner ring. Same-day or next-day rotation on perishable lines, simple paper acceptance with the receiver.
B2B brokerage
Match-making between farm cooperatives and end-buyers. We carry the call list, place the order, confirm transport and present the closing paperwork. Commission-based, agreed per case.
Quality control
A staff member opens a sample crate at the desk, checks visual ripeness, fruit firmness and crate weight against the bill. Findings get written into the supplier log carried by the staff.
Logistics support
Booking of cooled or insulated road transport for partner farms that prefer to handle the produce but not the carrier search. Local routes only; no cross-border shipping.
Crate / Pallet Weight Calculator
First tool in the app. Picks an empty-crate preset (or accepts a custom tare), takes the gross weight that the staff member reads off the platform scale and returns the net produce weight in kilograms. Saves a short list of recent runs.

Freshness Estimator
Reference tool for the desk supervisor. The staff member picks a produce type, enters harvest date and the storage temperature in Celsius. The app returns approximate days remaining based on a small built-in shelf-life table.

Multi-Currency Pricing
Wholesale price in UAH per kilogram, with parallel display in EUR and USD. Cross rates are entered manually by the desk supervisor at the start of the day, the app simply converts. There is no internet call to a rate provider.

Supplier Order Log

Coverage
The desk works with farms in the central and central-western berry regions of Ukraine. Lots arrive into a single staging point in Kyiv and are distributed from there. The sketch below is decorative, not a live map.
- Desk location. Kyiv, vul. Olesia Honchara 41.
- Supplier regions. Vinnytsia, Cherkasy, Khmelnytskyi.
- Delivery radius. Kyiv city and inner ring; selected weekend markets.
- Seasonality. May to October peak; cold-storage rotation outside the peak.
Common questions
Is the app online or offline?
Offline. The five tools (crate weight, freshness, currency pricing, yield, supplier log) run entirely on the phone. Saved runs, presets and scenarios stay on the device.
Does the app access GPS or geolocation?
No. The app requests no location permission and does not detect device position.
Does the app fetch live currency rates?
No. UAH/EUR and UAH/USD cross rates are entered manually by the desk supervisor at the start of the day.
Are supplier names and notes uploaded anywhere?
No. The supplier log stays on the device. There is no cloud sync and no export to a server.
Does the app need an account or login?
No. The app opens straight into the main shell with no account screen.
What languages does the app speak?
English. The interface is short and avoids long sentences for fast use on the desk floor.
How do I report an issue?
Write to team@chakberrillc.store. The desk supervisor answers during working hours.
